Additional Information Only account by a survivor of the sufferings of the 1860 Utter-Myers emigrating party of fifty-four members, all but fifteen of whom perished from hunger or were killed by Native Americans on the Snake river in Idaho.-Howes. Laid in is an Autograph Letter signed by Geraldine Hughes, 1936 May 22, Mount Vernon, Iowa. To Edward Eberstadt. Stating that her father, James Hughes, wrote the pamphlet for Mrs. Fuller.
