Additional Information From the Colton Storm catalogue: "Konsag (or Consag), a Jesuit of Hungarian origin, spent many years in Baja California and played an active part in the exploration of the Colorado-Gila country. He and Ugarte proved finally that no strait separated the Californias from the mainland. This discovery opened the way for the development of the overland routes and assured future permanent settlements."
