Native Americans

A number of themes touch upon the history of Native Americans. Few emigrants’ guidebooks fail to mention an indigenous presence, and most accounts of overland travel include an encounter with the ‘Indians’. As the history of Native Americans so permeates that of the West, the Graff Collection holds an abundance of material specifically documenting their history and culture.
