|Additional Information||From the Colton Storm catalogue: "Wilkinson's copy of part of the cypher used for the Burr-Wilkinson correspondence. According to an unsigned note by Wilkinson on the verso, the explanation of the cypher was written by Captain Campbell Smith in 1794-96 when he was acting as Wilkinson's aide-de-camp. To the original memorandum, Wilkinson added a cypher for the alphabet and numbers for himself and Burr. On the verso, Wilkinson's docket appears."|
